About Us

War Machine Merch was started in 2007 originally focused on street marketing for the entertainment industry. However, with the downturn of the economy, owner Ro Kohli, decided that it was time to retool the company to fit the needs of its clients during these tough economic times.

In late 2009, Ro decided to improve upon the existing model of War Machine Marketing and move it away from street marketing. This new and improved War Machine Merch would move into the realm of creation and distribution of promotional products, branded marketing collateral, and tour production items for the entertainment industry.

In 2010, War Machine Marketing took off in a huge way acquiring high caliber clients including Epitaph Records, Disney, Konami Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Guitar Center and Stern Pinball. More companies become part of the roster each week inquiring about War Machine Marketing’s over 3 million item offerings.

In 2020, War Machine Marketing officially became WAR MACHINE CUSOM MERCHANDISING to help streamline client’s expectations and maximize visibility in the marketplace.

So, whether you’re looking for promotional giveaways for trade shows, conventions and events, collateral for your marketing campaigns, retail and production items for your band’s tour, or hard to find items like custom action figures, War Machine Custom Merchandising is here to help your company save money, time, and stress. Why pay more when you don’t have to?

Integrity. Passion. Quality. That is what War Machine Merch is all about.

MERCH IS YOUR WEAPON!

RO KOHLI

Owner/Sales/Business Development

Ro Kohli has been involved in the music and entertainment industry for over 20 years. He has worked at music management companies, record labels and marketing companies in both New York City and Los Angeles.

In 2000, he helped create and maintain the most prolific street team in the heavy metal music industry, the Roadrunner Records’ Road Crew promoting bands like Slipknot, Nickelback and Killswitch Engage. He has worked with street teams at a variety of entertainment companies including Warner Bros Records, Streetwise Concepts and Culture, Channel M, and Century Media Records.

In 2007, he started War Machine Marketing moving back to his street marketing roots with a slight directional twist. With the economic downturn in 2008, he moved street marketing to the side and focused on creating and producing branded promotional products for many entertainment companies, brands and bands.

Renaming the company WAR MACHINE CUSTOM MERCHANDISING (War Machine Merch, for short) in 2020, his goal remains as steadfast as ever: to help companies’ bands and brands save money and time by providing amazing promotional products at great prices.
